My wife and I travel through Newville to get to Col. Denning State Park. We’ve gotten wind that the bridges or road through Newville will be closed for repair. Will we still be able to get through to Col. Denning?

    Hi James,

I tried to call the borough office today (Wednesday) only to realize that they are not open on Wednesdays. They do not have emails or forms on their website, so your best shot is to call them directly (Mon, Tues or Thurs between 8:00am and 4:30pm)

As an alternative, you can check out PennDot’s website. PennDot may not cover all the bridges in Newville, but they do maintain the bridges on state (main) routes. They usually post their projects on their website: http://www.penndot8.com/

Sorry I couldn’t be of any more help.
